Dan Pulver, Engineering

Dan Pulver, MME Optoelectronics, is responsible for semiconductor laser design and qualification.  He has more than 12 years experience in related product research and development and has demonstrated a strong track record in developing industry-leading high-power lasers.   Prior to founding SemiNex, Pulver was Staff Engineer for Corning Lasertron where he was responsible for several key laser diode improvements that lead to Lasertron’s achievement of industry-leading performance for pump laser diodes.  Specifically, Pulver led the process improvements and qualification of laser chip and packaging efforts.  He coordinated fabrication processing, chip characterization, and reliability testing.  Mastery of these technical elements enabled Pulver to greatly improve the optical performance, reliability, and yield for Lasertron pump lasers.  Under Pulver’s technical leadership, Corning Lasertron designed and qualified the highest power pump lasers in the world.
